Sundee

Hi everyone! Thanks for letting me contribute to the blog even though I am not getting trained by Leslie. I have started the diet and have exercised for the past three mornings with my husband Kasey. We have a treadmill and an elliptical so it makes it easier. Monday we both did 20 minutes of intense cardio. I was sweating from every pore when I got done. Then we worked our upper arms.
I am really enjoying the diet so far. I got some containers from the dollar store and filled them up with frozen green peppers, onion, and mushrooms. I want to chop up some zucchini and freeze them to for omelette's. I also made a batch of the zero point soup. I froze 7 one cup containers so they are ready to go as needed to. I really want to be prepared as far as the food goes so I don't fail. I am finding that around 3:00 in the afternoon I want a treat BAD!!! I cracked open a diet cherry Coke yesterday. I don't want to get in the habit of drinking pop because I know it takes my breath away. I want to run the 5K and not pass out. I will try to limit my pop intake. Thank you for all of your posts!

How I am feeling: Emotionally I am feeling so much better. Saturday was a real down day for me. I tend to get the winter blues after Christmas a little. Exercise has HELPED that so much for me!! I seem to cope with things a lot better when I am exercising.
Physically I am super sore. I guess that's the "good" pain Leslie was talking about. I am so glad that my husband has decided to exercise with me. We are enjoying spending our time together.

Gratitude: I am so grateful for Leslie and Andy for helping us all along. They are so inspiring to me. So much of the information that I heard on Saturday morning really helped me. I am grateful for my sister Kami. We call each other and report about our diet and exercise. So glad I have her in my life.

PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION is the motto I want to live by. I know I won't be perfect all of the time. I usually beat myself up if I don't eat perfect which sends me to the pantry for an even bigger binge! I know with Heavenly Fathers help and support from you all I can definitely make PROGRESS! I am so glad to be a part of this. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

P.S. Thank goodness for spell check on this thing!

  1. I need to get a foam roll! I would sure love a giant sugar cookie (heart shaped) covered in pink fluffy icing (with a white boarder) RIGHT THIS SECOND! But I will hold off until my free day! Boy am I excited for that!
