Leslie totally KICKED MY TRASH this morning! It was awesome until I threw up (that wasn't until I got home though) I thought the cardio is what would be most difficult, but it turned out to be the weight part. That is so usually the oposite for me. I officially signed up for the challenge today and that freaks me out a little. Commitment can be a little scary, but I am so excited for the challenge.
Food:
Egg beaters omlet (3/4 cup = 90 calories) with mushrooms, peppers and a smidge of ham and one tsp. of cheese. Oh and ketchup. VERY YUMMY!
string cheese/apple
salad with broccoli, celery, lean turkey and egg whites with lots of dressing (no calorie/no fat from Waldon Farms)
wheat thins (12) string cheese (I need to get some triscuts)
1/2 cup rice 1/2 cup lean hamburger
crystal light fruit punch
Today I am more sore than I have been in YEARS! Will be glad when "working through it" is over and my body adjusts. Otherwise I am quite tired, but that's because I am getting up early and not going to bed early enough. Will work on this!
Grattitudes:
I am so grateful to have a body that works (though sore) well enough to be able to exercise! I am so thankful to be able to feel my lungs burn and feel my muscles tremble beneath me. To have a healthy body is a blessing! I loved what Andy said about God giving us these awesome temples(bodies) and then seeing the kind of shape we keep them in. I want to show my Heavenly Father that I am grateful for my temple by taking good care of it!
Good luck on day 3! I am glad to know that when I am feeling weak that I have some awesome ladies that have my back and are going through the same feelings! It really helps me! Thanks for your inspiration!
